King Travolta "Kill Fuck Metal "
I am toiling over how to introduce this inverted cat fetus slathered in mucus. So Gummo, So Sick, So dishonest and unclean. A sonic missachievement of intollerable pervision. A malformed melding of minds that should be illegal. Corey Bing scowers the catch of the ceptic tank, employing the aid of affluent sceene crushers like Vince Burke, Mike Zilla, CT, Erik Larson, Charlie Beasely and many many more. From the moment you pick this record you are faced with a barbaric fiend donned with many missapropriations of pop culture coalesced with ellicit drug imagery. Such great art too! I am very disturbed that the monster creature with the heroine arms is wearing little kiddie smurf pantines that read Kill*Fuck*Metal across the waist line. Insided, more nefarious immagery of the perfect school (or prison) lunch; Heroin needle and Fork, Nuggs and Carrots and the amazing lettuce, tomatoe and giant neon green capped cillicibin. Whew. Maybee thats why it was banned from myspace! There is no short supply of vileness on the idside as well. Ultra insano crusty doom jams. Starting with a suprising Mantra from Mike Zilla in which the Classic Bongzilla throat ripper sings like a bird in "Wage War". Other devestating riffage from overly affluent artist/shredder Scott Sterns comming up with sicko black metal/sludge-punk hammer to your throat riffs, along with Vince Burke sludging it up beyond perception as well as Corey Bingss own "Judgerr" a totally devestating tune from start to finish. It just keeps going on.I can go on and on about who does what where awesomely but It would take too much server space. Bottom line-All Star Cast, all super sick, and a very highly recomended albulm experience.

Lord by Fire "Sword"
Actually the Name of the band was Sword, and this release is called "Lord by FIre"
This band from Richmond changed their name from Sword to Lordbyfire. This CD rocks from start to finnish. It has that sludgy Mugwart kind of a vibe. Fast paced with lots of heavy ellements. This is really guaranteed to not dissapoint, especially if your looking for some outlaw southern dirt metal.

Beyond Agony
"the last of a dying breed"

tries to be Pantera but really is more a run of nu-metal bullshit. these guys want to be famous soo bad and it's obvious with the formulaic crap they put out, the same shit we have been forced to listen to but dumbfuck kids driving in their cars who don't know shit about metal and think slipknot kicks some serious ass. They might like this crap but fans of the underground know the real deal and THIS IS not it. oh dear fucking christ and the rapping the fucking rapping. need i say more.

FISTULA- "For a better Tomorrow"
I was told to listen to this a couple of times to let it sink in. I think what is really the case is that you need to get WAY FADED proceeding, during and whilst listening to this ultra stoner sludge doom lp. The riffs are just endless drudging on and on and on enveloped by shrilling echoing gurgled howls of utter affirmity. It is like listening to someone unable to die yet withered with necrosis screaming into your eyes. This is the first recording with new drummer Jason Corley, also formerly of -(16)- and currently CEO of Corley Music, the label that released this malevolent minthropic headache onto the world. A very personal and hauntingly melodic acoustic song at the end makes this a must to your ultimate sludge collection.

Bloodcow "Railroad City"*
ohh fuck what a waste of time. why submit a post punk album not ONE but two of them to a doommetal magazine? especially one that was released THREE years ago. There isn't anything metal about this band. Think a very bad imitation of nomeansno and the digits. the lyrics are compeletly inane.no doom no metal just crap. sad really.
Roanoke "Stormbringer"*
The entire CD consists of ONE 32 minute song. Personally I don't have the patience but you might. It's slow, it's heavy, it's fucking doom, Bare bones doom. FUCKING DOOM. This would be good while you are fucking or working cuz of the length, it's a journey. One that I wanna take. What also kicks ass is the amount of cool shit you get with the cd: stickers and even a fucking button. To me it seems appropriate that this comes out of the NW the grey gloomy NW. Roanoke is going on tour in OCT check their myspace for dates. I know I will be there.

Storm The Castle- "The Best of Charge" demo*
Demo. Low production value but it’s a fucking demo so what do you expect. The art is very simplistic it’s their style so I am not going knock it. It’s different and that is good.
Prog metal a plenty but with more a midtempo rock sound. The vocals are rad, there is no over blown testosterone ego driven bullshit, singing, people actually still do that.
Sounds like they have some punk influences a little Fugazi a little Dickies but more prog.
I am definitely keeping this one on the rotation.
