Burmese/Fistula split lp
Burmese creates some interesting and ear-splitting noise. Ouch. If you can survive all ten tracks, you will be well rewarded with the latest outbursts of Ohios' FISTULA who deliver a surprise attack of sick, crushing, and sludgetastic metal. You can feel the weight crushing down, as your speakers ooze with all the contempt and misanthropic malevolence that until now, was never meant to be generated to a mass audience. With out a doubt, Fistula has made long strides in song writing and production, with Black Sabbath meets Slayer riffage ripping huge holes in my ear drums, while the vocalist pulls open the tears and screams in them about how I should shut up and listen closer. Damn, you would thoroughly regret not hearing these songs at least once. Insightful lyrics and crushing volume like few others, if any at all. A+++
Crucial Blast
Moho "20unas" ep
Man this record is sick, there are elements of everything here. First off, its like a satanic Bongzilla, but at a Buzzoven kin da pace. With fantastic production, thick meaty bass and drums, much like Unsane. Great riffs and pacing. Altogether it is some heavy hitting stoner doom. The best thing I have heard come out of spain. Also, the art is really cool. You would do well to pick this record up. For fans of Bongzilla, Unsane, Buzzoven, for all the reasons that I just stated. If you are cool you will get it.
Noosebomb "Brain Food for the Brain Dead"ep
This is very meaty, but undercooked and crawling with salmonella. Containing members of the legendary GRIEF, Noosebomb is far from their origins. These are actually rock songs, just, crusty. Actually, Grief was doing some faster stuff like this towards the end of their life span, evident on the "He's No Good to me Dead" comp. This picks up that vein, in pain and screaming, lots of double bass. Really good songs, production is a little thin, but it makes up for it in catchy shot gun riffs, like on "Multi-Facial Personality", or "Hell bent for Retirement".

Salt of The Earth- "Purity of Oblivion " demo
Devastating Indiana doom. Specializing in Iomi Sludge, Salt Delivers an extraordinary blend of Vitus, Black Sabbath and Sleep. Monster Dirge riffs with surprisingly good production and great vocals. This is a great band and absolutely worth checking into. Very catchy and great live.

Disrobe- demo
This is actually awesome. Suprisngly well recorded "ill noise headcore". Its really crusty sounding, like something from Havoc Records. There are 20 songs of opressing grind with the longest song clocking in at 2.05s. Its totally unlike most of the hardcore from Chicago, in that its actually good. The singer was also the drummer of cursed at birth, until they kicked him out. No love loss cuz this is great. I also like how they scream about Chicago, and mention the Midway area. contact Disrobe
