SWARM OF THE LOTUS |
| Totally tore through Chicago destroying crops and farm houses and in several cases, caried off small children that strayed too far from their mothers. Much like a surpirse kick to the temple, the Swarm layed down a thick sound that has little saw blades around the edges that leave wounds doctors can't repair.They combine an awesome blend of old neurosis power with the math of Dillenger Escape plan. I usually don't drop names, but in this case, its really the sound I heard. One only needs to listen to this band to feel it. Swarm of the Lotus is provoking and chug-filled, with plenty of riffage in between to give yourself a fine case of whiplash. | |
They have an album called "When White Becomes Black" which I'm sure you will be able to find without any trouble. Even if it is trouble, it would be well worth your time, especially if you spend most of your time listening to Shadows Fall or Opeth, you will come to realize your graveous mistake.
